| Senator Ludicrus Sextus is putting forward a bill in the Senate to allow slaves to buy their freedom. Ludicrus' slave, Lurcio is understandably happy about this. All Lurcio has to do is to get together the 500 Drachmas so that he can purchase his freedom. The problem is, how does a slave get 500 Drachmas when he isn't paid anything... |
